Short Mini-series 

This is the latest of my music video montages. Its short and sweet, but very tightly edited. I've been tweaking this one for a while and I think its finally where I want it it to be. I keep on saying im going to add to it (hence the COMING SOON! at the end of it) but I think I am done with it. I love the music editing in this one and editing dance sequences are my favorite! Mmmm yummy. 

Feature Film 

A college Student and his friends steal a mystical box belonging an evil creature, and the creature will go to any lengths to get it back, including raising the dead! 

3.0 minute Film 

Gotta love a bad boy. Breezy, singer/songwriter, is after the "bad boy". The FBI is after him. This video follows the chase while the two love birds disguise themselves in their surroundings and Breezy helps her man out by distracting the FBI agents so he can make a run for it. Will they get away? Watch a find out! Dun dun dun! This video was the first of the three that I directed for my thesis. We shot this in one day, and got shot loads of coverage for a one day 3 person crew shoot. It was a lot of fun and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I definately needed MORE filler footage and I wish I could have covered the dance sequence a little better, but hey, it's a first.  

9.0 minute Film 

This project was my mid-term at the LA Film School, and it was a scene from the play "This Is Our Youth". The scene was originally meant for two guys, but I switched it up to two girls. This is a very powerful scene and I had so much fun working with my amazing actors, Kasey Buckley, and Tamika Pough. I really enjoyed working with them and I felt that I learned a lot through the process of rehearsing with them. The feel of the scen is very "Thirteen" like and its very in your face. Cory DeLair was my Cinematograher, and Joey Salehi* was my amazing Production Designer. We shot this in a day and I am pretty impressed what my crew pulled off. I think this is definatley my best work thus far. Obviously, looking at it now, there are some changes I would like to make, but hey, it's a work in progress.

Directed by Nic De Armendi, this abridged production of Shakespeare's Hamlet is inspired by Rebel Without a Cause, the birth of Rock and Roll and early youthful uprisings of the fifties that gave way to the sixties counterculture.

A documentary on high school students who put on a show for inner city kids with puppets to tell them the pitfalls of smoking. They are lead by a teacher at Palisades Charter HS. 

3.0 minute Film 

This was my third final music video at the New York Film Academy. I was friends with this band from home, and it worked out that I could make their video. This song is money and they should sell it to signed band because I think the song could have a lot of potential. I'm not too impressed with this video anymore. I feel like the camera work is too shakey for it was trying to do. It made editing really fucking hard, but hey, it's a learning process right. Last year, I was in a long distance relationship and I think that is what inspired this video's concept. Its about teen heat and young love. I learned a lot of after making this video... a lot of what NOT to do. We had some kick ass locations for this one, and a 5 person crew, so all and all, its not bad for what it is.

In Yasmina Reza's "Art," the friendship of three men is put to the test when one of them, Serge, buys a modern art painting for an insane sum of money. His best friend, Marc, hates the painting and cannot believe Serge would do such a thing without first consulting him. Their younger, soon to be married, neurotic friend Yvan tries to mediate the situation, but loses it and suffers a breakdown. In the end, it comes down to which is more important, the painting, or old friendships.

The New York premiere of James Rasheed's dark comedy, Professional Skepticism. The play centers on four auditors at a Big Five CPA firm and their daily struggle to survive while swimming with sharks. This tale of office intrigue is surprisingly funny, intense, and timely.

Invisible Child is an exciting, imaginative and very contemporary Dance/Play written and performed by Lisa Barri, a longstanding actress in the New York theater community. The play tells the story of Ginger, a woman who wants so desperately to please her mother and the outside world that she loses herself in the process. Her story is told through a series of monologues in which a variety of characters emerge. Each character has a different effect on Ginger's life so that through the course of the play it becomes clear why she is so lost. Ginger lacks the emotional support from anyone who can see her for the person that she is. Because of sly manipulations, verbal bashing, physical attacks and lack of acceptance, Ginger lives her life to please everyone but herself. To please others she becomes a prosecutor, leaving behind the only connection to Self that she knows - her love for painting. She has deluded herself into thinking that through the legal system she will be able to help people, but because she does her job so well she causes a woman to be sentenced to death row. She had never intended for anything like that to happen and in a moment of epiphany she realizes that she can no longer live the life she's living. She discovers that she cannot get the love or acceptance she desires from pleasing another person and becomes determined to follow her own dreams.

It's not everyday you go on a blind date. It's also not everyday you get partially turned into a werewolf and find out you're in a movie. Yeah, well, that happened to me today. I'm Dave, I figured I would write this because I experienced it, not the douchebag running the site. Watch me as I get used to me new powers, defeat this Emo Vamp, and save my date. All while punching a hole through the Fourth Wall into your living room.

2.0 minute Film 

This was a little short that I did whilte attending the New York Film Academy. It was shot on black and white 16mm film. This is sort of on the experimental side, but I liked how it turned out. I love the close up's on the guy and the girl at the end when they're by the tree. Just watch it, the song is pretty. :)

An office worker struggles through his workday and is overwhelmed by life's obstacles. His dream of happiness is lost until a chance encounter with a homeless man. This encounter helps him find what he needs.

Two people from very different backgrounds challenge themselves to escape the stereotype of becoming broken because of a misfortunate past.
