This was an LA Film School film gym project. It was a lot of fun to make and it was our first real short film we did while at the school. I was the editor, which actually played a huge role because there was narration through out the entire film so I was able to piece the whole thing together myself and made all of the creative decision making. Going into post with this project, the style was never really executed and I really pushed this stylized way of editing it. I like this little project a lot and I learned a how to save a lot of wanky coverage. It was a great first project for the crew and It was a lot of fun. It's about a guy who looks at women like flowers. Caring and loving a flower and protecting it from harm, just as if you were to do to a woman. It's kinda creepy and the casting was peferct. Kasey, the lead, was amazing and his voice for the narration was money.

Early Christmas Eve, me and my firend Justin made this music video of "Over and Over" by Nelly feat, Tim McGraw for his girlfiend. We planned, filmed, edited, and authored all in one day... 

3.0 minute Film 

This was my favorite music video that I completed last year for final thesis. I hired an awesome Cinematographer, Jeff Dolen (www.jeffdolen.com) and he made the world of difference. This was definatley a huge learning experience for me, and it was my first taste of directing a full band. This video is pretty much peformance based and with a slight theme of "nothing is what is seems". That is obvious with the production design. I love the editing in this video.

This was my third final music video at the New York Film Academy. I was friends with this band from home, and it worked out that I could make their video. This song is money and they should sell it to signed band because I think the song could have a lot of potential. I'm not too impressed with this video anymore. I feel like the camera work is too shakey for it was trying to do. It made editing really fucking hard, but hey, it's a learning process right. Last year, I was in a long distance relationship and I think that is what inspired this video's concept. Its about teen heat and young love. I learned a lot of after making this video... a lot of what NOT to do. We had some kick ass locations for this one, and a 5 person crew, so all and all, its not bad for what it is.

This is the very first attempt at cutting downloaded music videos together. I had sooo much fun with this one because it was where I really started to get a feel for music video editing. I had tons of stuff to music before this, but this is where I became hooked. I cut this while I had somes in town from Seattle, and every two seconds I would want to show them my progress I was making. I'll never forget how excited I was when I first snyced Avril's mouth to Britney's voice. I've always been huge fans of both of them (who secretly isn't) and all of their videos are purely eye candy so it's hard not to like their videos. I had so much fun editing this one, and there is so much I can see that needs fixing and tweaking, but I'm leaving it the way it is. It's nice to see the progress I have made sice this one. But honestly, though, I haven't seen anything like this piece, and I think its pretty rad.

Using kinetic text as a main character, the piece focuses on anxiety and the worry of one individual who is unsure if he should perceive himself through a camera lens or through a mirror.

2.0 minute Mini-series 

This is the second music video montage I cut together. I love the song in this one, and I think that is what drives the piece. The images that I used were also from a bunch of music videos that I liked and downloaded and this was a ton of fun to edit together. I think this is a powerful little piece and It's one of my little projects I've done and it's what I would show people first out of all my work.
